【涼風陷阱】夏天一到每個人都一扇旁身

風扇直吹要小心

CheckCheckCin:近年手提風扇大行其道,自製涼風的確可以消暑,但要注意手提風扇製造的風如果使用不當亦屬風邪的一種,中醫理論認為風邪多從皮毛而入,掛頸式風扇的風會一直吹著固定位置,天氣炎熱令毛孔張開,容易讓風邪有機可乘,風邪致病會容易導致頭痛、面癱、抽搐等症狀。如果使用這類小風扇,使用時間不宜太長,距離不宜太近,宜不時將風扇吹向手腳等不同部位,避免固定吹向一個部位。
而夏天出汗增多屬正常現象,因為身體需要透過排汗調節體溫,流汗時應盡快抹乾,滿頭大汗時吹風容易感冒。如果異常大汗,可以飲用以下這款茶療,有清熱解毒、固表止汗作用。

燕麥米水

燕麥浮小麥米水
功效:健脾養胃、固表止汗。
材料:紅米2湯匙、白米1湯匙、燕麥2湯匙、浮小麥2湯匙
做法:材料洗淨後放入鍋中,加入1000毫升水,武火煮滾調文火煮30分鐘,然後連材料全部倒進保溫瓶即可。建議一星期飲用3-4次。

CheckCheckCin: Handheld fans seem to be trending recently, as it gives out cool wind that can help reduce heat, but such cool wind is a potential pathogen. Chinese medicine theorized that wind pathogens enter the body through skin, and neck fan that blows at a static direction will allow such pathogen to penetrate easily into the body, especially when pores on the epidermis enlarge under the hot weather.

Wind pathogens will cause symptoms such as headache, facial paralysis and cramps. Hence, this kind of fan should only be used for a short period, and be kept at a distance from the body. Do keep the fan in constant motion, and directed at different parts of your body.

It is normal to experience an increase in perspiration during summer, as the body needs to regulate its temperature. Wipe off the sweat as soon as possible, or else you might catch a cold when in contact with wind. If you seem to sweat excessively, consider drinking the following types of healing tea, which can help clear heat and toxins from the body, hence reduce sweating.

Suggested drinks to clear heat and alleviate symptoms of excessive sweating:
Oats Rice Water
or
Oats blighted wheat rice water
Effects: Strengthens spleen and stomach, replenishes vital energy and reduces sweating.
Ingredients: 2 tablespoons red rice, 2 tablespoons white rice, 2 tablespoons oats, 2 tablespoons blighted wheat
Preparation: rinse all ingredients thoroughly. Combine all ingredients with 800-1000ml of water and cook on high heat until boiling. Turn to low heat and simmer for 30 minutes. Pour the tea with all ingredients into thermos. For best results, drink consecutively for 3-4 days.
