Relieve abdominal bloating
Do you experience abdominal bloating and discomfort all the time? Always feel like stomach gas is rushing up from the stomach? You may think it was abdominal discomfort or indigestion so you some medication for it. However, that does not help. From the point of view of Chinese medicine, burping is related to liver qi stagnation which affects the stomach qi circulation. Poor qi circulation will lead to abdominal bloating and even stomach pain. To solve this problem, you should relieve stress and regulate qi. Eat ingredients that relieve stress and regulate qi according to your body condition. Eat less foods that are prone to lead to gassiness such as milk or soybean. Eat less cold/raw, oily and indigestible foods, and regularly exercise to improve qi circulation. The abdominal bloating problem can be alleviated.
Tips for soup to relieve stress and regulate qi:
Appropriately add in ingredients such as monkey head mushroom, lotus root, fingered citron and lotus seed.
Monkey head soup with green radish, carrot and papaya
Effects: relieves stress and regulates qi. Alleviates stress induced symptoms such as abdominal bloating, abdominal discomfort and dry cough.
Ingredients: 1 green radish, 1 carrot, 1 green papaya, 2 monkey head mushroom, ¼ cup of millet (or 1 pack of oats rice water powder), 20g pearl barley, 1 dried citrus peel, 2 candied dates
1. Rinse all dried ingredients. Peel green radish and carrot and cut into pieces. Peel and core green papaya and cut into pieces.
2. Combine all ingredients with 2500ml of water in a pot and cook on high heat until boiling. Turn to low heat and simmer for 1 hour. Add salt to taste.
