Do you have a sthenia constitution?

Last week, we talked about the significance of nourishment for individuals with an asthenia constitution. Conversely, the presence of an excessive presence of pathogenic factors and strong internal resistance from the body’s righteous qi (vital energy) leads to sthenia syndrome. Pathogenic factors such as qi stagnation, blood stasis, phlegm dampness, and damp-heat accumulate internally, leading to excessive conditions. This can result in blocked meridians, leading to qi stagnation, blood stasis, phlegm dampness, and damp-heat constitutions. Sthenia constitutions require dispersion and elimination. For example, when it comes to qi stagnation, it’s recommended to promote the flow of qi; for blood stasis, it’s advisable to activate blood circulation and dispel stasis; for phlegm dampness, it’s beneficial to dispel dampness; and for damp-heat, it’s recommended to get rid of heat. After all, restoring balance in the body is the key to good health.
