所謂的「飯氣攻心」,在中醫理論為「飯醉」,又稱食後昏困,是指飯後昏倦欲睡的症狀。由於脾氣虛弱,不能正常運化飲食物,增加了脾胃負擔,人自然就會疲累乏力,所以飯氣攻心其實唔關「飯」事,係身體用了額外精力去幫助脾胃消化而導致的身體睏倦。

健脾祛濕消滯茶療:黨參、茯苓、山楂、麥芽各9克
加入600毫升水煲30分鐘,連渣倒入保溫瓶,可以反覆沖泡至味淡。一星期飲用3日。

Is food coma real?
Food coma in Chinese medicine is a concept of ‘drunk with food’, and it refers to symptoms of sleepiness after a meal. It happens when the stomach and spleen are deficient and cannot properly transform food intake into nutrients. When eating causes burden to the stomach and spleen, it is natural for the body to feel tired. Food coma is actually not caused by the food, but the fatigue is due to your body exhausting additional energy to assist your stomach and spleen in digestion.
Tea remedy to strengthen the spleen and dispel dampness:
Ingredients: INSERT ENGLISH
Preparation: Combine all ingredients with 600ml of water into a pot and cook on high heat until boiling. Simmer on low heat for another 30 minutes. Pour all contents into a thermos and tea can be rebrewed until flavor weakens. For best results, have the tea 3 times per week.
