【聖誕扮靚秘笈】唇色太紅原來不健康

健康唇色大作戰
離聖誕還有一星期,你的派對妝容和戰衣準備好沒有?由於嘴唇位於面部中央,因此唇妝很多時都成為了妝容的重點所在,在挑選唇膏顏色前,有沒有想過唇色其實會影響唇膏的效果?唇色其實更反映了身體狀況,中醫角度認為,健康的唇色應該是淡粉紅色,圓潤飽滿而不乾燥,唇色偏白或者偏紅甚至紫,都是不健康的身體表現。趁還有一星期,好好調理一下身體,還原最靚唇色吧!

四種常見唇色:
淡粉紅 — 最健康的唇色,圓潤飽滿而不乾燥

唇色蒼白 — 多見於血虛或陽虛體質,代表氣血不足、脾胃虛寒,此類人士多有眩暈、手腳冰冷、倦怠乏力、消化力弱等症狀。
調理茶療:
桂圓紅棗茶
材料:桂圓6枚、去核紅棗4枚、黑茶小許
做法:材料放入保溫瓶,以熱開水沖洗一遍,再加入熱開水焗5分鐘至香味透出即可,此茶可反覆沖泡至味淡。
備註:一星期飲用2-3天,體質偏熱、感冒未清者不宜飲用

唇色偏紅 — 加上偏乾、脫皮的話,是由體內的「火」引起,即脾胃積熱、肝火旺盛所致,多伴以口臭、大便乾結等症狀。
調理茶療:
梨乾菊花茶
材料:梨乾2-3片、菊花3克
做法:材料放入保溫瓶,以熱開水沖洗一遍,再加入熱開水焗5分鐘至花香味透出即可,此茶可反覆沖泡至味淡。
備註:一星期飲用2-3天,身體偏寒或感冒未清不宜飲用。

唇色青紫 — 多見於氣滯、血瘀體質,血行不暢、女士月經易有痛經、血塊。
調理茶療:
玫瑰茉莉花桃仁茶
材料:玫瑰花6朵、茉莉花6朵、桃仁10克
做法:材料放入保溫瓶,以熱開水沖洗一遍,再加入熱開水焗5分鐘至花香味透出即可,此茶可反覆沖泡至味淡。
備註:一星期飲用2-3天,孕婦及女士月經期間不宜飲用。

The battle of healthy lip colours
Christmas is only a week away, have you gotten your clothes and make up ready? As our lips are in the center of our face, some times the key to the success of your make up depends on your lips. Before you choose your lipstick, have you considered that the natural colour of your lips can affect your choice too? Your lip colour is a reflection of your health. From Chinese medicine perspective, healthy lips are light pink, moist and full. Those with pale, dark red or purplish lips reflect body issues. Try to condition your body this week to achieve healthy lips!
Four common lip colours:
Light pink- healthiest colour for lips, moist and full but not dry
Pale- commonly seen in those with blood asthenia or yang deficient body types. It means you have insufficient qi and blood, asthenic cold spleen and stomach. Usually accompanied by dizzy spells, cold limbs, fatigue, and poor digestive system.
Healing tea: Chinese red dates tea with longan meat
Ingredients: 6 longan meat, 4 pitted red dates, a bit of black tea
Preparation: combine all ingredients into thermos and rinse with hot water. Then add in hot water and steep for 5 minutes or until fragrance develops. This tea can be re-brewed until its flavour weakens.
Note: For best results, drink for 2-3 days for a week. Not suitable for those with heat related body types or those recovering from cold and flu.
Reddish- coupled with dryness and peeling, it is usually caused by ‘fire’ in the body such as liver fire or heat in the spleen and stomach. Usually accompanied by bad breath and dry stool.
Healing tea: Chrysanthemum tea with dried pear
Ingredients: 2-3 dried pear, 3g chrysanthemum
Preparation: combine all ingredients into thermos and rinse with hot water. Then add in hot water and steep for 5 minutes or until fragrance develops. This tea can be re-brewed until its flavour weakens.
Note: For best results, drink for 2-3 days for a week. Not suitable for those with cold related body types or those recovering from cold and flu.
Purplish- commonly seen in those with qi stagnation or blood stasis body types. Accompanied by poor blood circulation, and ladies will experience menstrual pain and blood clots in menstruation.
Healing tea: peach kernel tea with rose and jasmine
Ingredients: 6 roses, 5 jasmine, 10g peach kernel
Preparation: combine all ingredients into thermos and rinse with hot water. Then add in hot water and steep for 5 minutes or until fragrance develops. This tea can be re-brewed until its flavour weakens.
Note: For best results, drink for 2-3 days for a week. Not suitable for ladies who are pregnant or menstruating.
