【打工仔系列】要應酬的工作令人特別疲累

應酬多要清熱祛濕
作為打工仔很多時都身不由己,應酬就是其中之一,不但佔據你休息時間,應酬更少不免飲點酒,以及吃下很多肥甘厚味的食物。中醫認為酒乃濕熱之物,無論是價錢便宜的啤酒以至名貴的烈酒,都會令你的身體聚濕、生痰、化熱,甚至影響肝及脾的運作,再加上應酬時的重口味食物及晚睡等惡習,令你的身體偏熱,當你發現小便黃、大便不爽甚至便秘、大便黏著廁所、容易出暗瘡、口瘡、有口氣或腳氣,那就是應酬的後遺症了。

多應酬人士日常調護:
– 上班時的提神飲料由咖啡奶茶,改為花旗參茶或菊花茶吧!
– 多吃熟透的香蕉,能清熱止渴,潤腸通便,亦有解酒作用。
– 平日飲食清淡一點,多吃蔬菜水果平衡一下。
– 有時間要做適量運動,出一身汗有助散走濕氣。
– 不用應酬的日子更要飲食清淡,可以喝清熱健脾的湯水。
– 每日飲用米水,減低脾胃負擔。

清熱醒酒茶
功效:清熱解酒,紓緩因晚睡而引致的肝火上炎,以及緩解酒後的目赤口渴、頭痛等症狀。
材料:菊花6克、荷葉9克
做法:材料洗淨放保溫瓶,以熱開水沖洗一遍,注入熱開水焗約10分鐘即可。此茶可反覆沖泡至味淡。

Dinner engagements are sometimes unavoidable for working people. They not only take up rest time, but you are also required to drink and eat oily and fatty foods. From Chinese medicine perspective, alcohol is damp-heat natured. Whether it is cheap beer or expensive spirit, it collects dampness in the body which leads to phlegm and heat and can affect the functions of the liver and spleen. Moreover, eating heavy flavoured dishes and sleeping late can lead to heat-related symptoms. The aftereffect of joining work-related event are reflected as yellowish urine, difficulty passing Stool or even constipation, sticky stool, acne, canker sores, odor in feet or bad breath.

Tips for people who have frequent work related dinner engagements:
– To give yourself a boost at work, drink American ginseng tea or chrysanthemum tea instead of coffee or milk tea.
– Eat more ripe bananas which can clear heat and relieve thirst, moisten the bowels to relieve constipation and alleviate hangover.
– Have light meals, fruits and vegetables.
– Exercise appropriately when you are free. Sweating helps to dispel dampness.
– You should have a lighter diet when you are not going to work-related event. You can drink soup that can help to clear the heat and nourish the spleen.
– Drink rice water daily to alleviate the load on the spleen and stomach.

Tea to clear heat and alleviate hangover
Effects: Clears heat and alleviates hangover. Relieves the liver heat caused by sleeping late, redness in eyes, thirst and headache after drinking.
Ingredients: 6g chrysanthemum, 9g lotus leaves
Preparation: Rinse all ingredients thoroughly and place into thermos, rinse with hot water once. Then add in hot water again and steep for 10 minutes. This tea can be re-brewed until its flavor weakens.
