Do you have an asthenia constitution?

Many people feel that they have an asthenia body, but do you know where this so-called ‘asthenia’ lies? The notion of ‘asthenia’ in Traditional Chinese Medicine is a broad term, and practitioners will identify where this ‘asthenia’ is.

For instance, you might have a constitution characterized by qi deficiency, blood deficiency, yin deficiency, yang deficiency, or specific organ weaknesses like yang-deficient heart, blood-deficient liver, qi-deficient spleen, qi-deficient lungs, and yin-deficient kidneys.

Each type of deficiency requires different treatment approaches, and the supplements needed are not the same. Consuming excessive fish maw, red dates, ginseng, angelica root, or chicken essence might not solve the problem, so it is best to consult a registered traditional Chinese medicine practitioner for a targeted treatment plan.
