Autumn equinox solar term
Autumn equinox marks the midway of fall and day and night time are even. After today the day time in the northern hemisphere will become longer and temperature will slowly fall. Fall is a time that people may become moody so diet should focus on nourishing yin and moistening the lungs, calm the mind and heart. Based on body type, appropriate ingredients include glutinous rice, black sesame, pear, apple, pomelo, and honey.
