含住啖飯唔好講野~??

記得細細個嗰時,阿媽成日叫我地食飯唔好講野,原來好有根據。孔子說:「食不語,寢不言。」除了有關禮儀,背後也包含中醫理論,因為專心進食可有助吸收!食飯時把氣集中在脾胃,這個時候開口說話就會「嘥氣」,因為說話會動用氣,而且大腦運作消化系統時又要兼顧說話,大腦就會和脾胃爭氣血,影響消化功能。而且一不小心吞下空氣,更可能嗆到。所以話,少說話多做事幾時都最好!

❉Mothers always tell young kids not to talk while they’re eating, and there’s actually a good reason for it. Confucius once said ‘Keep quiet when you’re eating and sleeping’, and there is Chinese medicine theory behind it. Focusing on eating your meal will help you absorb nutrients. Your body’s energy will gather in your spleen and stomach during meal time, your qi and blood flows downwards. If you start talking, you are ‘wasting’ your qi and can hurt your yang as well. Furthermore, while your brain is working with your digestive system, talking also distracts the brain function and fight for qi and blood with your spleen and stomach, which can affect your digestive functions. You will also choke if you accidentally swallow air. Talking less and doing more is always good!
