#24節氣 – 秋分】

秋分節氣即是秋季來到中間點,北半球開始步入日短夜長,天氣慢慢轉涼。傳統有「春捂秋凍,不生雜病」之說,意思是春天不急於脫掉厚衣服,秋天不要剛轉涼就穿得太多,適當地訓練抗寒能力。秋季受乾燥侵襲,耗損肺氣,容易出現氣管不適、喉痛乾涸、流鼻血等因為肺燥而引起的症狀,宜滋陰潤肺,適量食用帶滋陰潤燥功效的食材如蜂蜜、雪耳、沙參、麥冬、川貝、杏仁等。秋天是吃蟹的季節,螃蟹屬性寒涼,吃蟹後記得喝杯紫蘇葉薑茶或炒米水,暖胃驅寒。

秋分養生重點:「滋陰潤肺,寧心安神」

黑芝麻:補肝腎、養血烏髮、滋陰潤腸
杏仁:潤肺、潤腸通便
豆漿:潤燥、健脾養胃

黑芝麻杏仁豆漿
功效:補腎益精,滋潤肌膚,適合皮膚乾燥、面色欠光澤人士飲用。
材料:黑芝麻粉1湯匙、杏仁粉1湯匙、豆漿1杯、黃糖適量
做法:黑芝麻粉及杏仁粉放入保溫瓶,將豆漿煮熱,倒入保溫瓶中拌勻即可,可加適量黃糖拌勻調味。
注意:容易胃脹不適、脾胃虛寒者不宜飲用。

During autumn equinox solar term, it comes to the middle of the autumn season. After today the daylight will become shorter and the night time will become longer. And the weather is getting cooler. As the saying ‘Spring covers and autumn freezes, no miscellaneous diseases’ goes, even though it’s starting to become cooler, don’t wear too many clothes too quickly and give your bodies time to adjust to the changing weather without getting sick. During the fall when the dryness attacks, you may experience respiratory discomfort and throat dryness, and the blood streaks in nose is also caused by dryness in the lungs as well. Appropriately consume ingredients that can nourish yin and moisten the body such as honey, snow fungus, glehnia root, radix ophiopogonis, chuan bei, almond to prevent autumn dryness hurting the lungs. Autumn is the season to eat crabs. As crabs are cool in nature, remember to drink a cup of purple perilla tea with ginger or fried rice water to warm the stomach and dispel cold.

Healthy living during Autumn Equinox Solar Term:
“Nourish yin and moisten the lungs, calms the mind and heart.”

Black sesame: nourish the liver and kidney, nourish blood and improve hair quality, nourish yin and moisten the intestine.
Almond: moisten the lungs, moisten the bowels to relieve constipation.
Soymilk: relieve dryness, strengthen the spleen and nourish the stomach.

Soymilk with black sesame and almond
Effects: nourishes kidneys and skin, moisten skin, suitable for those with dry and dull skin.
Ingredients: 1 tablespoon black sesame powder, 1 tablespoon almond powder, 1 cup of soymilk, brown sugar to taste
Preparation: Add black sesame powder and almond powder into thermos. Heat up soymilk and add into thermos and mix well. Add in brown sugar to taste.
Note: Not suitable for those with abdominal bloating or asthenic spleen.
