Getting the body ready for conception
“Doctor, what constitutes a good body for pregnancy?”
From Chinese medicine perspective, a body ready to conceive should be one with neutral constitution. This is where the yin and yang are balance, blood and the qi are rich in the body, menstruation cycle is normal, and the person is energetic and psychologically fit. However, due to congenital factors, diet, and lifestyle, having a body with neutral constitution is uncommon. In order to restore the balance in the body, both men and women should observe signals the body sends out, and adjust our diet and lifestyle accordingly. This will increase the chances of getting pregnant!

Tips to improve: consume less raw and cold food, appropriately consume ginseng, Codonopsis root, red date, Astragalus root and dried longan, as they can warm and replenish the qi and the blood.
