是日霜降??

到了霜降,亦是秋季最後一個節氣,冬季前夕的過渡時節。天氣轉涼要小心保暖以防著涼。俗語有說「補冬不如補霜降」,是因為時候就是為身體準備入冬保養的好時機。秋冬時分特別易有呼吸道不適,尤其是本身有鼻敏感的人,也就是肺氣虛的,更容易感染風邪寒病。要注意,脾胃虛弱或身體有濕的話就不宜滋陰,應先健脾胃。

深秋調護:
- 早睡晚起
- 避寒邪,避免左冷氣風口位置,少吃生冷
- 少喝酒、少吃辛辣及刺激性食物,不宜過飽
- 補肺潤燥,也要養脾胃及適量補氣血

– Strengthen the spleen and stomach
– Nourish yin and relieve dryness
– Mildly replenish, not cold and not hot
Suggested foods: corn, soy beans, white radish, lotus root, sweet potatoes, chestnuts, pears

Frost’s Descent is the last solar term of autumn, and it’s a transition time before winter. The temperature starts to drop so it is important to keep warm to prevent getting sick. There’s a saying, ‘better to replenish for frost’s descent than for winter’. This is the best time to prepare the body for winter. During autumn, our bodies are prone to respiratory discomfort, especially for those with nasal allergies. For those with asthenic lung qi, you are more vulnerable to catch a cold. Note that those with dampness or asthenic spleen and stomach should avoid nourishing in as they should strengthen the spleen and stomach first.
Fall care:
– Sleep early and sleep in.
– Avoid pathogenic cold, avoid sitting right by air condition vents, and avoid cold and raw foods.
– Decrease consumption of alcohol, spicy and stimulating foods. Don’t overeat.
– Replenish the lungs, relieve dryness, and nourish the spleen and stomach. Appropriately replenish qi and blood.
