薄荷的香氣和清涼感覺雖然不是人人喜歡,但是在作感冒或喉嚨不適時,一杯薄荷茶就是最好的舒緩,也是在旅程中比較容易找到的簡單茶療!在中東國家,他們會以新鮮薄荷葉沖茶,再加上蜂蜜或砂糖;而在歐美國家,薄荷茶亦非常常見普遍,假如你在旅程中感覺自己身體有熱,如頭痛、口瘡及喉嚨痛等,又似作感冒的話,不妨喝一杯薄荷茶讓身體醒醒神、清涼一下!
薄荷﹣性涼,有宣散風熱和透疹的作用,能舒緩風熱感冒而起的頭痛目赤、喉嚨不適、口瘡、熱咳黃痰、牙痛等症狀,對於風疹和消化不良也有舒緩作用,亦可令口氣清新。要注意陰虛體質人士不宜多服。

Mint- cool in nature, can dispel wind heat. Helps to relieve flu related headaches, red eyes, sore throat, canker sores, hot cough, yellow phlegm, and toothache. It can also alleviate hives and indigestion. You can also keep your breath fresh with mint! Note it is not suitable for those with yin deficient body constitution.
