【運動不適】明天馬拉松你準備好未?

按穴緩解跑步胃抽筋
渣打馬拉松明天又到了,跑步期間卻突然胃抽筋起來該怎麼辦?可以先放慢腳步,身上有水的話可以喝一口水,不要用多,記低以下穴位,邊按邊走,紓緩一下。如胃痛不斷加重則要停一停休息一下了!不妨以大拇指指腹揉按以下三個穴位,每個穴位約按30秒,局部有痠麻脹痛或泛紅為正常現象,有助紓緩胃痛。比賽前記得預留足夠時間熱身,如果時間許可,晨起喝一杯暖米水,暖一暖脾胃!

KO胃痛穴位:
中脘穴
位置:位於腹部,胸骨下端與肚臍連接線中點,肚臍直上約6隻手指位。
功效:可紓緩胃痛、腹痛、食慾不振及消化系統疾痛。

內關穴
位置:位於手腕上,手掌向上,腕横纹上兩寸(約兩拇指寬)。
功效:有助紓緩緊張引致的頭暈、嘔吐及胃痛。

合谷穴
位置:於手掌大拇指和食指虎口位置。
功效:可紓解胃痛及胃脹,亦可作脾胃保養之用。

Acupoints to relieve cramping from running

Tomorrow is the annual Standard Chartered marathon. What if you start having abdominal cramps in the middle of the race? First, slow down a bit. If you have water, take a small sip, does not have to be a lot. Then try to massage these acupoints as you run to relieve the pain. If the pain persists and intensifies, you may need to stop and take a rest. Use your thumb to massage these three acupoints for 30 seconds, slight numbing pain or redness occurrence are normal. Remember to warm up adequately before the race. If you have time, have a cup of warm rice water to warm the stomach when you wake up.

Central Venter (Zhong Wan) Point
Location: located in the abdomen, below the ribs in the midpoint between rib cage and belly button, about 6 finger widths above the belly button
Effects: alleviate symptoms of abdominal pain, poor appetite and digestive system pain

Inner Pass (Nei Guan) Point
Location: located two inches above the wrist crease (about 2 thumb widths)
Effects: relieve nervousness related dizziness, vomiting and abdominal pain

Union Valley (He Gu) Point
Location: between the thumb and index finger, right next to the second metacarpal bone
Effects: alleviate abdominal pain, nourish the spleen and stomach
