【旅遊小貼士】米水傍身,脾胃無有怕!

水土不服?
聖誕快樂!相信不少朋友早已身處世界各地,過著開心無憂的真·假期。開心還開心,不少人在旅行頭幾日明明不似生病,也沒有特別吃過甚麼易出事的食物,偏偏就出現突發性的肚瀉甚至是嘔吐,其實這就是俗語中的「水土不服」,意思是人到了一個陌生地區,未可適應地理環境、食水或食物而出現的短暫性的不適症狀,多數是腸胃不適。但又為甚麼不是人人會出現這個狀況?這就是因為你的脾胃比較虛弱,才特別容易出現這些症狀!建議你帶著即沖米水去旅行,每朝飲一杯溫暖的米水可補中養脾,避免出現水肚不服;假如真的沒有準備的話,也建議你在早餐時選擇吃碗溫熱的米粥或麥皮。有欲吐症狀時,又未能及時看醫生的話,不妨袋著幾粒薑糖在身,以備不時之需,因為薑有和胃止嘔的作用!

Some people are not sick during their vacation and did not eat anything out of the ordinary, but they would have sudden onset of diarrhea or maybe even vomiting. This could likely be due to adjustment to the new surroundings and a lot of people end up with abdominal discomfort. Why doesn’t this happen to everyone? For people with weaker spleen and stomach, this could easily happen! We suggest you bring instant rice water with you on your vacation. Have a cup every morning to nourish your spleen and avoid adjustment issues. If you forgot to bring rice water, then have warm congee or oatmeal for breakfast. If you feel nauseous and don’t have access to doctor, try bringing some ginger candy with you to help relieve nausea and warm the stomach.
