【生病必備】吃粥是傳統的療養佳品

簡單粥療養脾胃
病懨懨的時候甚麼也不想吃,尤其在腸胃炎時,聞到油膩和肉味都使人欲吐,但又不能甚麼也不吃,所以一碗米粥最適合不過。米粥溫暖易消化,中醫理論中白米可補氣養脾胃、除煩渴、長肌肉及止腹瀉,由於粗糙的外殼已去除,是容易讓人體消化吸收的主糧,尤其適合小朋友、老人家及脾胃虛弱人士食用,所以腸胃不適時,白米粥就是最好的選擇。當然,天天吃白粥也會口淡淡,推介兩款腸胃炎時也適合食用的粥療,味道清淡可口,更有助腸胃復原。

(寒底適合)淮山薑米粥
材料:新鮮淮山半根、薑4-5片、白米1/4米杯(可自行選擇加瘦肉與否)
做法:材料洗淨,鍋中加入所有材料米,加約1500毫升水煮成粥即成,可自行選擇加鹽調味。
功效:暖胃健脾止瀉。適合脾胃虛寒人士食用。

(熱底適合)海帶乾瑤柱粥
材料:海帶50克、乾瑤柱約3粒、蕃薯1塊、白米1/4米杯(可自行選擇加瘦肉與否)
做法:材料洗淨。海帶洗淨浸水約15分鐘,海帶水可以用作煮粥之用,海帶切絲備用,蕃薯去皮切粒。鍋中加入材料,海帶水及約1200毫升水煮成粥即成,可自行選擇加鹽調味。
功效:清熱健脾。適合夏季,脾胃有熱大便異常酸臭,肛門灼熱的人士食用。

Easy congee recipes to nourish spleen and stomach

(Suitable for cold body type) Chinese yam congee with ginger
Ingredients: Half of fresh Chinese Yam, 4-5 slices of ginger, ¼ cup of rice (You may decide add pork)
Preparation: Rinse all ingredients thoroughly. Combine all ingredients with 1500ml of water in a pot and cook to congee. Add salt to taste.
Effects: Warms the stomach, strengthens the spleen and relieves diarrhea. Suitable for those with asthenic spleen and stomach.

(Suitable for hot body type) Dried scallops congee with seaweed
Ingredients: 50g seaweed, 3 dried scallops, 1 piece of sweet potato, ¼ cup of rice (You may decide add pork)
Preparation: Rinse all ingredients thoroughly. Soak seaweed for 15 minutes. Seaweed water can use for cooking congee. Cut seaweed into thin shreds. Peel sweet potato and cut into pieces. Combine all ingredients with 1200ml of water and seaweed water in a pot and cook to congee. Add salt to taste.
Effects: Clears heat and strengthens spleen. Suitable to eat in summer. Those with heat in spleen and stomach, sour and smelly stool and feeling of heat in anus.
