#宜清熱利濕

天氣仍然炎熱,但原來立秋已到,預示著炎夏即將過去,秋天即將來臨。雖然立秋,但一時之間暑氣難消,在夏天時常吃生冷食物,脾胃難免受損,所以立秋時腸胃仍然受困,食慾不振、困倦乏力,飲食要以清熱利濕為主,多吃具健脾利濕消暑功效的食物,例如老黃瓜、絲瓜、青瓜、薏米、綠豆、紅豆及淮山等。適當的早操、慢跑能幫助身體順應秋季而適應天氣轉變及保持愉快心情,遠離秋愁及增冬季的強抗寒力。

溫馨提示:
・注意水份補充,補充夏天流失的水份,以及預防秋燥
・早餐喝杯暖米水,強健脾胃
・多吃清熱利濕的食物,來碗絲瓜湯
・不宜太早滋陰,喝碗綠豆薏米糖水
・早起到公園慢跑,讓身體適應秋天的來臨

Beginning of Autumn Solar Term

It is still quite hot but autumn is already coming. Although it is beginning of autumn, the heat does not just disappear over night. People tend to consume more cold and raw foods when it is hot, so the spleen and stomach get damage. You may still experience poor appetite, fatigue so keep to foods that clear heat and dispel dampness, strengthen the spleen and promote diuresis. These include old cucumber, luffa, cucumber, coix seeds, mung beans, red beans, and Chinese yam. Do morning exercise, or jog to help the body adjust to fall and keep a happy mood. Stay away from fall gloom and strengthen your body ahead of winter.
Gentle reminders:
– Remember to drink water to replenish fluids
– Have a cup of warm rice water for breakfast to strengthen the spleen and stomach
– Have foods that can clear heat and promote diuresis, try a bowl of luffa soup
– It is not suitable to nourish yin too early, have a bowl of coix seed dessert soup with mung beans
– Go to the park and jog in the morning to start adjusting to fall weather
