【浸浴減壓】夏天也是浸浴的好時節

大家都喜歡在冬日浸浴,因為浸浴能促進血液循環,令人感覺渾身暖和,但你又知否夏日浸浴原來也大有功效?春夏時分濕氣甚重,人自然份外疲累,中醫有「春夏養陽」的說法,多泡溫暖浴同時有助長陽氣抒發。適當的溫水浸浴,可促使血管擴張及促進血液循環,令身心和肌肉放鬆,也有情緒上的舒緩作用,對於緊張又大壓力的人就最適合,它亦能深層清潔皮膚,因為浸浴時你會大量流汗,把塞在毛孔裡的廢物排出,亦有助去掉水腫,是一個超舒服排毒瘦身的方法!

如果家中沒有浴缸浸浴,用一盆暖水浸腳亦有助舒緩壓力!

夏日浸浴小貼士:
・水溫以38°C-40°C為佳,不宜過熱
・浸浴時間不宜超過15分鐘
・宜在浸浴前喝杯水補充水份
・飯前30分鐘及飯後1小時皆不宜浸浴
・浸浴後輕輕塗抹身體乳液滋潤肌膚
・假如在浸浴時感到頭暈不適就要立即停止
・患有高血壓、心臟病、濕疹、孕婦或身體虛弱人士不宜浸浴

Everyone loves to bath in the winter as bathing can promote blood circulation and keep warm. But did you know it is also beneficial to take baths in the summer? The humidity is high during spring and summer and people naturally would feel more tired. Chinese medicine believes you should nourish yang during spring and summer and bathing can achieve that. Using appropriate warm water, you also expand your blood vessels and helps to promote blood circulation, relax the mind and body and this is especially suitable for those who are nervous and stressed. Bathing also has the side benefit of deep cleaning your skin as you will sweat during baths causing your pores to open up and get rid of toxins. This helps with edema and is a great way to detoxify and lose weight!
If you don’t have a tub at home, then try soaking your feel to relieve stress as well!
Summer bathing tips:
– Water temperature should be 38°C-40°C and not too hot
– Don’t bath for more than 15 minutes
– Have a cup of water before the bath to replenish your fluids
– Don’t bathe 30 minutes before or 1 hour after meals
– Gently apply moisturizer on your skin after bathing
– If you feel any dizziness during your bat, stop immediately
– For those with hypertension, heart disease, eczema, pregnant or weaker bodies, baths are not suitable
