中醫理論的脾胃,跟西醫理論的「消化系統」類近,我們依賴脾胃的消化吸收、轉化功能,身體才能攝取飲食中的營養,各部分才能暢順的運作,人自然神采飛揚,皮膚亮白不泛黃。相反如果脾胃不好,未能吸收足夠營養,人容易疲倦、食慾不振、精神萎靡,看起來未老先衰。

從今日起注意脾胃健康,養好脾胃從生活細節開始:
⭕每日飲用由紅米、白米及薏米煮成的米水
⭕黃色對應脾,適量食用有健脾胃功效的黃色食物,例如番薯、薯仔、蓮子、黃豆等;
⭕適量進食粗糧,例如小米、大麥、燕麥、藜麥、粟米、五穀米等;
⭕飲食宜清淡,不宜過分進補
⭕作息有規律,進食不宜過飽
⭕避免進食過量生冷、乳製品、煎炸、甜膩食物
⭕平日多按足三里穴有助健脾,以拇指指腹以陰力按揉約2-3分鐘

Does poor digestion accelerate aging?

When these functions harmoniously operate, our natural vitality shines through, and our skin remains luminous without a yellowish tinge. Conversely, if the spleen and stomach function poorly, hindering proper nutrient absorption, fatigue, reduced appetite, and mental weariness may set in, prematurely aging our appearance.

Starting today, take good care of our spleen and stomach and begin nurturing them through the finer aspects of daily life:

⭕drink the rice water made with red rice, white rice and coix seeds daily
⭕yellow corresponds with spleen, appropriately consuming yellow ingredients such as sweet potato, potato, lotus seed, soya bean can improve complexion and strengthen the spleen and stomach
⭕appropriately consume coarse grains such as millet, barley, oats, quinoa, corn, five-grain rice
⭕eat light and do not eat too much tonic food
⭕rest and eat regularly. Do not overeat
⭕avoid to eat cold and raw foods, dairy products, overly sweet and nourishing foods
⭕gently massage the San Li acupoint with the thumb for 2-3 minutes on a regular basis to strengthen the spleen
