【氣溫驟降】「阿媽覺得你凍」可能她自己是畏寒體質?

畏寒體質逐個捉
氣溫跌破攝氏15度,有人高興終於感受到冬天的來臨,有人卻擔心如何保暖。除了居住在氣溫低幾度的新界朋友外,究竟哪些人最怕冷?從中醫角度來看,怕冷的原因一般為陽氣衰弱及氣血虛弱引致,所以以下三種體質人士特別怕冷:
陽虛體質
怕冷程度:☃☃☃☃☃ (5個☃為最嚴重)
體質特徵:四肢及身體冰冷、懶惰不願動、嗜睡,也常提不起勁,這類人凌晨時份特別容易腹瀉,也有面色偏白、自汗(日間無故出汗)、身形偏浮腫等問題
調理方案:飲食宜補、每天喝米水、多吃米飯等熱食、開暖爐取暖、睡前足浴、忌吃生冷
血虛體質
怕冷程度:☃☃☃
體質特徵:心悸、容易頭暈、腳步輕浮、面色偏白、脫髮、指甲容易折斷、手足麻痺、皮膚乾燥痕癢,易有月經不調,量少且顏色淡紅,嚴重甚至停經
調理方案:宜益氣補血。每天喝米水、多吃補氣血食物如紅豆、紅棗,忌吃生冷、油膩食物
氣虛體質
怕冷程度:☃☃
體質特徵:易頭暈、氣短、聲音弱小、容易感冒、食慾差,經常感覺疲倦乏力、腹部經常脹滿,而且多汗,即使靜止時也會流汗
調理方案:宜飲食清淡、喝溫水、每天喝米水、適量進食健脾食物如淮山、白扁豆、熟薏米,及補氣食物如小米、薯仔、人參等、不宜做劇烈運動、忌吃生冷
保暖米水
功效:調理脾胃虛寒、升補陽氣。
材料:黃芪10克、黨參10克、夕米水1包
做法:藥材洗淨切細段、保溫瓶先以滾水焗5分鐘,倒掉熱水,再加入滾水,加入所有材料,焗20分鐘即可。
備註:建議一星期飲用2-3天,連續兩星期為一個療程。
Body types with aversion to cold
The temperature went below 15 degrees Celsius and some might be happy that winter is finally coming but others might be worried about how to stay warm. Aside from those living in New Territories where the temperature is a coupe degrees lower, who else should be careful? From Chinese medicine perspective, aversion to cold comss from weak yang qi and asthenic qi and blood so those with these body those would be worst.
Yang deficiency
Level: ☃☃☃☃☃(5☃ being worst)
Body characteristics: cold limbs and body, laziness, sleepiness, cannot seem to find energy. They would be prone to diarrhea in the early mornings, pale complexion, unexplained sweating, and bloated body type.
Solution: have tonic diet, daily rice water, have hot foods like rice dishes, keep heater on, have a warm feet soak before sleep, avoid cold and raw food
Blood asthenia
Level: ☃☃☃
Body characteristics: heart palpitations, prone to dizziness, light legged, pale complexion, hair loss, prone to nail breaking, numbness in limbs, dry and itchy skin, irregular menstruation, low volume of menstrual discharge and light in color (early menopause in serious cases)
Solution: nourish qi and replenish blood. Have rice water daily, have ingredients the replenish qi and blood such as red beans, red dates. Avoid cold and raw food and oily food.
Qi deficiency
Level: ☃☃
Body characteristics: prone to dizziness, short of breath, soft voice, prone to flus, poor appetite, fatigue, abdominal bloating and unexplained sweating even without any active activity
Solution: have lighter diet, drink warm water, have rice water daily, appropriately consume ingredients that strengthen the spleen such as Chinese yam, white hyacinth bean, coix seeds, and ingredients that replenish qi such as millet, potatoes, ginseng. Avoid vigourous exercises and avoid cold and raw food.
Warming rice water
Effects: regulate asthenic cold spleen and stomach, increase and replenish yang qi
Ingredients: 10g astragalus, 10g codonopsis pilosula, 1 pack of dusk rice water
Preparation: rinse herbs thoroughly and cut into small pieces. Soak in boiling water in thermos for 5 minutes and pour out water. Add in boiling water with rest of ingredients and steep for 20 minutes.
Note: for best results, drink for 2-3 days per week for two consecutive weeks.
