1. 洗淨所有材料,番薯切塊。海帶泡洗乾淨,切粗條,泡500毫升水裡30分鐘備用。
2. 拿起海帶,將海帶水加入鍋中再加入約300毫升水及小米,用武火煮滾,加入番薯,水滾後轉至文火,待煮成稠狀即可。要留意要否烹調過程中要加水。

Lose weight by eating salad after the holidays

After all the feasts over the holiday, I am trying a lighter diet to lose weight. I am cutting out rice and mainly just having salads. Now I feel quite tired and my digestive system is quite weak. How should I adjust my diet?

Millet congee with sweet potato and kelp

Effects: strengthen the spleen and nourish the stomach, relieve constipation
Ingredients: 1 sweet potato, 120g kelp, 50g millet
1. Rinse all ingredients thoroughly. Cut sweet potato into pieces. Soak and rinse kelp and cut into thick strips. Soak in 500ml of water for 30 minutes.
2. Take out the kelp and combine the kelp soaked water with 300ml of water and millet into pot and cook on high heat until boiling. Add in sweet potato and cook until boiling. Turn to low heat and simmer until texture is right. Add in water as appropriate during cooking process.
