「腎為先天之本」,中醫理論中腎為藏精之臟,與骨骼、造血、生殖發育、生長衰老及泌尿等功能有密切關係,人根據腎氣的盛衰而成長及衰老,所以想延緩衰老可以從養肝腎入手,按體質適量食用有養肝腎功效的食材,例如核桃、枸杞子、栗子、桑椹、黑豆、芝麻等;少吃生冷食品及辛辣等刺激物;適當紓緩壓力及避免熬夜,以免影響氣血及腎氣運行;平日可以飲用含有黑芝麻及黑豆的夕米水,亦有助烏髮養腎。

枸杞葉黑豆烏雞湯
功效:滋養肝腎,烏髮養顏,紓緩多白髮、腰痠耳鳴、大便不暢等症狀。
材料:枸杞葉300克(約半斤)、黑木耳1-2塊、黑豆30克、核桃20克、枸杞子15克、蜜棗2枚、烏雞1隻
做法:
1. 所有材料洗淨,黑木耳泡水至軟身;黑芝麻、黑豆以白鑊炒香;烏雞汆水;枸杞菜摘下葉片備用。
2. 鍋中加入約2500毫升水,除枸杞葉外放入全部材料,以武火煮至水滾,調文火煮約2小時,最後15分鐘放入枸杞葉,最後加鹽調味即可。

What kind of soup benefits kidney health?

“”The kidneys are the foundation of innate essence.”” According to traditional Chinese medicine, the kidneys store vital essence and are closely linked to functions like bone health, blood production, reproductive development, growth, aging, and urinary processes.

A person’s growth and aging are intricately connected to the vitality of kidney energy. To slow down the aging process, we should start by nurturing the liver and kidneys. Depending on individual constitution, we should incorporate foods with liver and kidney-nourishing properties such as walnuts, goji berries, chestnuts, mulberries, black soya beans, and sesame seeds, in moderation into our diet.

Minimize the consumption of raw and cold foods, as well as spicy and stimulating substances. Effectively manage stress and avoid late nights to ensure the smooth circulation of energy, blood, and the qi in the kidneys. Regular consumption of dusk rice water that contains black sesame and black soya beans can also contribute to kidney nourishment and healthy hair.

Black-bone Chicken soup with Wolfberry Leaves and Black Soya Beans
Effects: Nourishes the liver and kidneys, nourish hair and skin. Relieves excessive white hair, alleviates back pain and constipation.
Ingredients: 300g wolfberry leaves (about half catty), 1-2 black fungus, 30g black soya beans, 20g walnuts, 15g wolfberry, 2 candied dates, 1 black-bone chicken
Preparation:
1. Rinse all ingredients thoroughly. Soak the black fungus in water until soft and drain; Fry black soya beans in wok without oil until fragrant develops. Blanch the black-bone chicken. Remove wolfberry leaves from stem.
2. Aside from wolfberry leaves, combine the rest of ingredients with 2500ml of water and cook on high heat until boiling. Turn to low heat and simmer for 2 hours. Add in wolfberry leaves in the last 15 minutes. Add salt to taste.
