芒種節氣到了!

「芒種」節氣是指有芒作物例如大麥、小麥已經成熟,適合下半年栽種的穀類作物也開始了播種的時間。芒種後就是端午節,天氣炎熱,空氣非常潮濕,脾胃虛弱人士特別容易感到食慾不振、精神困倦。宜飲食清淡,少進食油膩食物,端午節前後日子也不要吃過多糭子,因為過量食用糯米會滯氣,特別是有痛症或素有胃部不適症狀更不應進食。

這個節氣宜健脾益氣,每日飲用米水,減低脾胃負擔。適量進食冬瓜、絲瓜、通菜、生菜、白蘿蔔、蘆筍、秋葵、茄子、馬蹄等,有助消暑及補充水份。順應大自然陽氣充盛,宜晚睡早起,中午睡一個短暫的午覺來振奮精神。

Grain in Ear Solar Term
Grain in Ear solar term refers to the time when crops such as barley and wheat have matured, and it is time to plant cereal crops for next half of the year. Grain in Ear solar term is followed by Dragon Boat when it is hot and stuffy. Those with asthenic stomach and spleen are prone to poor appetite and fatigue. They should eat lighter meals and less oily food. Do not eat too much rice dumplings before and after Dragon Boat as having too much glutinous rice will burden the qi. Those with pain or stomach discomfort symptoms should not eat rice dumplings.
It is suggested to strengthen spleen and nourish qi in this solar term. Have a cup of rice water daily to reduce the burden on the spleen and stomach. Eat more ingredients which are sweet, mild and cold in nature such as winter melon, luffa, water spinach, lettuce, white radish, asparagus, okra, eggplants, water chestnuts, etc. They can clear summer heat and replenish moisture. Following natural yang qi strength in this season, you can sleep later and get up earlier. Take a short nap at noon to recharge.

.don’t sit next to air vents even when it’s hot
