The Qingming Festival is a time where family members gather to clean up the graves of their ancestors and make ritual offerings, and also one of the solar terms.
The spring season is a time where living creatures grow. Hence, everything is clean and bright. That is how Qingming got its name. As the weather turns warm, and the rainfall becomes more frequent, don’t forget to carry an umbrella when we leave home.
We might feel down on rainy days, so it is important to soothe the liver during spring. The liver governs the regulation of elements in the body and keeps the blood. If the internal organ could not regulate the elements in the body effectively, we might end being emotional and feeling stressed. Its important to find ways to vent our frustrations. We can drink a cup of flower tea to relieve stress and exercise to dispel dampness from the body, and at the same time, get rid of the negative feelings in us.
