Fishwort can clear lung heat, relieve phlegm and cough, promote fluid production and relieve dryness . Due its fishy smell when chopped, it is known as “smelly fish herb” in Cantonese. It blooms in the summer, and you may find it during hikes in the nature, but be sure not to pick on plants in the wild to consume!
