整潔家居迎新年
到了歲末年初的時間,心裡面就有一團火升起:我想執屋!不過,這團火又瞬間熄滅,因為雜物長年累月地堆積,而且家裡的收納空間總是不夠,實在不知道從何入手!家居和身體一樣,清理多餘垃圾才能暢順運作,建議先從小範圍入手,例如設定目標為書枱,然後按以下三個步驟處理,當書枱「重光」後,使用時就得心應手,這種成功感有助你進一步決心整理家居。

一、清理
堆積已久的賬單、信件、信用卡底單、咭片、宣傳單張等,已過期或沒用的就丟掉吧。可以循環再造回收的東西就放到適當的回收箱。一些自己沒有用但還可以用的東西,可以選擇轉贈朋友、捐贈甚至轉售。

二、歸類
為了避免東西胡亂堆疊,將有用的東西歸類放好,每次使用後都放回原位,就有助保持整潔。物品擺放位置按照使用頻率及個人習慣而決定,最常用的物品放在最就手位置;比較少用的東西可以放在較高位置。如果不知如何判斷,可以用日月年分類法,將東西分為每日用/每月用/每年用,以判斷儲存位置。

三、標籤
買了好多收納箱,終於把東西分類收納好了,大功告成!咪住!還差一步啊!記得在收納箱外寫清楚箱內的收納物品,因為時間一久我們就會忘記箱內放了甚麼,在箱外寫清楚收納的物品,找東西時就更省時間了。

醒神茶療
材料:太子參10克、青瓜4片、青檸汁小許、新鮮薄荷葉5-6片、冰糖適量
做法:
1. 除青檸汁,洗淨所有材料,青瓜切片備用。
2. 鍋內加入約800毫升水,放入太子參,以武火煮至水滾,調文火煮約30分鐘,加入青瓜、薄荷葉、冰糖。煮5分鐘,最後下青檸汁調味即可。
功效:補氣健脾,清利頭目。紓緩打掃屋企後的勞累及鬱悶心情。

Declutter your home in the new year
As we welcome the new year, you may be eager to declutter your home. But when you look at all the clutter you have gathered over the years, that desire might diminish. There seems to never be enough storage space, where do you begin! The home and the body are similar, you have to clear out excess garbage to function properly. We suggest you start with a smaller area, perhaps the desk and follow the below steps to help your desk see light again. Once you get the hang of it, the rewarding feeling can help you work towards getting through the rest of your home.

1. Clean
You should discard old bills, letters, credit card slips, name card, promotional leaflets, etc. if they are expired or useless. Put items that can be recycled for recycling at appropriate collection bins. For something that you do not use anymore but still in good shape, you can choose to send them to friends, donate and even resell.

2. Categorise
In order to prevent things from being stacked randomly, you should put useful things into groups and put them back to where you got it from after using. It will help keep things tidy. The positioning of the items should be placed according to the frequency of use and personal habits. The most commonly used items are placed in the most convenient location, the less used items can be placed in more obscure locations. If you have no idea how to judge, you can use the classification to divide things into daily use / monthly use / yearly use to determine the storage location.

3. Labeling
You may have bought a lot of storage boxes and finally sorted your things and think you’re done. But hang on! One more step! Remember to label the boxes, because as time goes by we may forget what was put in the box, and clear labels can save time on finding items.

Energising tea
Ingredients: 10g radix pseudostellariae, 4 slices of cucumbers, a little lime juice, 5-6 fresh mint leaves, appropriate amounts of rock sugar
Preparation:
1. Rinse all ingredients thoroughly except for lime juice. Cut cucumber into slices.
2. Add 800ml of water and radix pseudostellariae in a pot, and cook on high heat until boiling. Turn to low heat and simmer for 30 minutes. Add in cucumbers, mint leaves, rock sugar and cook for 5 minutes. Add lime juice to taste.
Effects: replenishes qi and strengthens qi, improves vision and relieves dizziness. It can relieve fatigue and poor mood after cleaning the house.
