星期五湯水-老黃瓜薏米淮山湯

想袪水腫?老黃瓜及生薏米幫到你,因兩者都有清熱利濕的功效,所以對消水腫非常有效,尤其適合濕熱體質人士。此湯加入陳皮及薑,所以不用怕湯水太寒涼。

材料:老黃瓜1根、生薏米30克、淮山15克、花生30克、陳皮1角、蜜棗2枚、薑2片

做法:將材料洗淨。老黃瓜連皮切塊。鍋內加入2000mL水,加入所有材料,武火煮至水滾,改文火煮1小時,‭ ‬調入適量鹽即可。

功效:清熱健脾袪濕。舒緩水腫、口乾、口臭或有體臭等症狀。

Want to get rid of water retention? Old cucumber and coix seeds can help as they can both clear heat and dispel dampness. This soup is effective in relieving edema and is especially suitable for those with damp heat body constitution. The ingredients of the soup include dried citrus peel and ginger so it won’t be too cold in nature.
Ingredients: 1 old cucumber, 30g coix seeds, 15g Chinese yam, 30g peanuts, 1 dried citrus peel, 2 candied dates, 2 slices of ginger
Preparation Method: Rinse all ingredients thoroughly. Peel and cut old cucumber into pieces. Combine ingredients with 2000ml of water in a pot, and place over high heat until the water boils. Switch to low heat and simmer for 1 additional hour. Add salt to taste.
Effects: Clears heat, strengthens the spleen and dispels dampness. Alleviates symptoms of edema, dry mouth, bad breath or body odor.
