Soup to promote qi circulation and aid digestion
The Dragon Boat Festival just passed. You may have eaten too much rice dumplings in order to try new flavours. You might be experiencing abdominal bloating, excessive abdominal gas with a stinky smell, nausea and other symptoms. As the main ingredient of rice dumplings is sticky glutinous glutinous rice, it is not easy to digest. Make a soup with rice sprout and malt to aid digestion. They are effective for digesting starch, especially suitable for those with indigestion due to excessive carbohydrates consumption. The below ingredients of grass carp tail soup are suitable for the whole family.

Appropriately add in ingredients such as white radish, dried citrus peel, Chinese hawthorn, etc.
Grass carp tail soup with white radish
Effects: promotes qi circulation, alleviates symptoms such as indigestion, stomach discomfort due to poor eating habits. Suitable for all body conditions and children above 1 year old.
Ingredients: 1 white radish, half of fresh Chinese yam, 20g rice sprout, 20g malt, 1 dried citrus peel, 3 slices of ginger, 1 grass carp tail
1. Rinse all ingredients thoroughly. Peel white radish and Chinese yam and cut into pieces. Pan-fry fish tail with hot oil and ginger until both sides of the fish are slightly browned. Place fish into a soup bag. Add 500ml water into the same pot and cook until boiling.
2. Combine the fish tail, fish soup and rest of the ingredients with 1500ml of water into the big pot and cook on high heat until boiling. Then turn to low heat and simmer for 1.5 hours. Add salt to taste.
Note that malt may decrease breastmilk supply, so those who are breastfeeding should avoid.
