1. 所有材料洗淨,椰菜切絲,青木瓜去皮去籽、洋蔥去衣切塊備用。
2. 鍋中加入約2500毫升水,放入全部材料,武火煮至水滾,調文火煮約1小時,最後下鹽調味即可。

Soup to dispel water and improve urination
Ever feel like you just can’t urinate properly and there’s less volume and the urine is yellowish? This might be due to the ever bothersome edema! When your body is attacked by internal and external dampness, you will experience swelling in the mouth, face, and limbs and feel extra tired and even have trouble with urination. This is all due to water retained in your body. The feeling of poor urination can be quite uneasy, sometimes you still feel the urge to go after you’ve gone. As we go from spring to summer and the humidity is high, have a bowl of soup to improve your urination and dispel dampness!

Corn silk soup with green papaya and cabbage
Ingredients: 1 green papaya, half a head of cabbage, half an onion, 10g corn silk, 30g coix seed, 3 candied dates
1. Rinse all ingredients thorough. Cut cabbage into slices, peel and seed green papaya and cut into pieces. Peel onion and cut into pieces.
2. Combine all ingredients with 2500ml of water and cook on high heat until boiling. Turn to low heat and simmer for 1 hour. Add salt to taste.
Effects: Clears heat and improve urination. Alleviates fatigue due to spring, lack of appetite and trouble urinating. Note this is not suitable for those with frequent urination and those who are pregnant.
