Stubborn Yellow Phlegm
▶︎Ingredients: Monk fruit and pear
▶︎Instructions: Cut the monk fruit in half, rinse thoroughly. Combine all ingredients with 800ml of water, cook on high heat until boiling. Then switch to low heat and cook for additional 20 minutes. Pour everything into thermos and the drink can be re-brewed until flavour weakens. Suggested o drink for 1-2 days.
▶︎Effects: Clear away heat and moisten the lung, reduce phlegm and relieve cough. Suitable for those with yin deficiency and damp heat body types and also those with heat-related symptoms.
⚠️: Not recommended for those with lung ‘qi’ deficiency (pale complexion and insufficient splenogastric ‘qi’), and those with cold-related cough (itchy throat, without phlegm or with white phlegm).
