1. 糯米粉中加入80毫升暖水,搓勻至不黏手,再將麵糰分為約10等份,搓成球形。
2. 將麵糰壓扁再掐至兜形,加入少量紅糖,搓成湯丸。
3. 鍋中加入750毫升水以武火煮滾,放入湯丸煮6分鐘至浮起備用。
4. 紫米洗淨,以清水浸泡1小時備用。鍋中加入1000毫升水,放入紫米,武火煮15分鐘,轉文火煮40分鐘至軟身,期間不時攪拌以免黏底,加入適量冰糖調味,再加入椰漿拌勻。
5. 將湯丸加入紫米露中,上碗時再繞上少量椰漿更添美味。

Sweet dumplings to warm the stomach

Purple rice: replenishes qi and strengthens the spleen and stomach
Brown sugar: strengthens the spleen, warms the stomach, dispels cold and activates blood 

Ingredients of coconut purple rice:
80g purple rice, 180ml coconut milk, 1000ml water, appropriate amount of rock sugar

Ingredients of sweet dumplings:
100g glutinous rice flour, 80ml warm water, 90g brown sugar, 750ml water

1. Add 80ml of warm water to the glutinous rice flour and knead until it is not sticky. Then divide the dough into about 10 equal parts and knead into a ball.
2. Squeeze the dough and shape it as a pocket, add a small amount of brown sugar, and knead into sweet dumplings.
4. Add 750ml of water in the pot and cook on high heat until boiling. Add sweet dumplings and cook for 6 minutes until they float.
5. Rinse the purple rice and soak it in water for 1 hour. Combine purple rice with 1000ml of water and cook on high heat for 15 minutes. Turn to low heat and simmer for 40 minutes till soft. Stir from time to time to avoid sticking to the bottom. Add an appropriate amount of rock sugar to taste, and then mix with coconut milk.
6. Add the sweet dumplings to the coconut purple rice, and add a small amount of coconut milk to add flavor.
