紅色食物補心血
根據中醫典籍《黃帝內經》提及的「五色入五臟」理論,自然界的五行:木、火、土、金、水,可以對應身體五個臟腑:肝、心、脾、肺、腎,而青、赤、黃、白、黑就是相應的五種顏色,多吃相關顏色食物,就可調和五臟,達到保健強身之效。
「赤入心」,心主血脈和神志,紅色食物具有益氣補血和促進血液循環的功效,例如紅棗、紅豆、車厘子、牛肉等,全部食物屬性皆偏溫熱,多吃有助滋補氣血,尤其適合手腳冰冷人士,因為體內陽氣不足,未可溫暖四肢,或者血液循環差形成氣滯體質,也會導致手腳冰冷,多食用紅色食物行氣養血,亦能改善面色。
紅棗 — 性溫,有養氣補血、補脾之效,特別適合氣血兩虛及身體偏寒人士食用。氣血旺盛、體質偏燥熱,易有暗瘡、便秘人士不應多吃。
紅豆 — 性平,具補血和胃功效,有助紓緩集中力不夠、氣血虛弱等症狀。適合各體質人士服用。
車厘子 — 性熱,具益氣健脾、祛風濕的功效,適合氣血虛弱、消化不良的人食用,但由於屬性溫熱,食用份量不宜過多,糖尿病患者不宜。
牛肉 — 性溫,有益氣血、補脾胃、強筋骨的作用,適合氣血不足者食用,但由於屬發物,患有濕疹等皮膚病者不宜食用。
Red ingredients to nourish heart and blood
According to the ancient Chinese Medicine principles, the five elements of nature: wood, fire, earth, gold, and water can correspond to the five internal organs of the body: liver, heart, spleen, lung, kidney. Green, red, yellow, white, and black are the five corresponding colours. If you eat more ingredients of related colors, you can nourish the five internal organs to achieve health effects.
Red corresponds to the heart. The heart is responsible for veins and the mind. Red ingredients have the effects of nourishing qi and blood, and promoting blood circulation.
Red ingredients such as Chinese red date, red bean, cherry, beef, etc. are warm and hot in nature. Eating more will help to nourish qi and blood, especially suitable for people with cold limbs as they lack yang qi which warm the limbs or have poor blood circulation leading to qi stagnation body type that can also cause cold limbs. Eating more red ingredients can promote qi and blood, and also improve complexion.
Chinese red dates- warm in nature, and can nourish qi, replenish blood and spleen, and it is especially suitable for those with qi or blood deficiency and with cold-related symptoms. Those with rich qi and blood, heat-related body types, or those prone to acne and constipation should not eat too much.
Red bean- mid in nature, replenishes blood and stomach. It can relieve symptoms of lack of concentration, asthenic qi and blood. Suitable for all body types.
Cherry- hot in nature, and can strengthen qi and stomach, dispel wind dampness. They are suitable for those with asthenic qi and blood, and those with indigestion. As they are warm in nature, avoid having too much and it is not suitable for those with diabetes.
Beef- warm in nature, can replenish qi and blood, nourish the spleen and stomach, and strengthen bones and tendons. Suitable for those with qi and blood deficiency. Note that beef is a stimulating ingredient and is not suitable for those with skin problems such as eczema.
