Relax for a minute- exercises for leg edema
This Sunday, take a minute to pat your legs to stimulate acupoints to relieve edema for great looking legs. There are three acupoints on the lower leg to relieve edema. Pressing, rubbing and patting the acupoints can help to remove edema.
Beautiful bulge point
Location: outer calves above the ankle, two fingers widths from your tibia.
Effects: relieves cough and phlegm, constipation, edema. Especially helpful for those with phlegm and dampness body type.
Ying Ling Quan point
Location: inner calves, below the knee caps at the depressed point of inner tibia
Effects: alleviates edema, diarrhea, difficulty urinating and jaundice
Cheng Shan Point
Location: on the lower leg, in the depression formed below the bellies of the gastrocnemius muscle when the muscle is flexed
Effects: alleviates edema, improves lines of your legs, promotes blood circulation, relieves painful feet and leg edema
Watermelon is a great summer fruit that can improve leg shape, clear summer heat as well as promote diuresis to remove excess heat in the body which helps to reduce swelling near the legs. Note that those with asthenic cold spleen and stomach, prone to diarrhea, those with diabetes, or have menstruation should eat with caution.
