Post Sun Exposure Soup to Whiten Skin and Relieve Heat
After spending time under the sun on weekends, you seem to always feel a bit dizzy, thirsty, fatigue, and even have yellowish urine? You may have symptoms of mild heat stroke so remember to bring room temperature water to drink. Ice cold drinks may feel great to relieve heat, but it could hurt your spleen and stomach.

Aside from water, you can also try a soup to relieve heat and whiten your skin, as well as relieve discomfort after sun exposure.

Post Sun Exposure Soup Tips:
Relieve heat: add in ingredients such as winter melon, cantaloupe, old cucumber, hairy gourd, bitter melon, and chayote.

Whiten skin: add in ingredients such as apple, Chinese yam, snow fungus, lily bulb, poria, or black fungus.

Lotus leave soup with cantaloupe and corn
Effects: relieve summer heat and whiten skin
Ingredients: half a cantaloupe, 1-2 ears of corn with silk, 1 lotus leaf, 80g fresh lotus seeds, 1 dried citrus peel, 3-4 figs
Preparation: rinse all ingredients thoroughly. Peel and seed cantaloupe and cut into pieces. Remove husk from corn and cut into pieces. Combine all ingredients with 2500ml of water and cook on high heat until boiling. Turn to low heat and simmer for 1 hour. Add salt to taste.
