End of Heat Solar Term
This solar term marks the end of summer, the temperature in day time will still be high, but we will beginning to sense arrival of autumn at night and rain volume starts to decrease. During the seasonal change, focus your diet to clear heat and calm the mind. Try to have more snow fungus, lily bulbs, lotus seeds, honey, seaweed, spinach, glutinous rice and sesame.
As fall begins, a lot of people may feel tired and lazy. Try to adjust your rest time and start to sleep earlier and wake up earlier to help your lung qi. The temperature difference between day and night is higher so be sure to use a proper blanket.
– It will become dryer so have honey water
– Have rice water daily to have healthy spleen and stomach
– Try having foods that clear heat and calm the mind such as snow fungus and lily bulb dessert soup
– Wake up earlier and sleep earlier to avoid fall fatigue.
