養腎健脾胃改善耳鳴
耳鳴不是大病,但沒日沒夜在耳邊都出現一種只有患者才聽到的聲響,非常影響心情和日常生活。撇除頭部耳部受傷而引起的耳鳴,從中醫角度來看,不少耳鳴個案都是因為體虛引起的,中老年人腎氣衰退,出現耳鳴機會較高,因為「腎開竅於耳」,《黃帝內經》曾說:男子「五八,腎氣衰,髮墮齒槁」,而女子「五七,陽明脈衰,面始焦,髮始墮」都說明男人踏入四十歲、女人踏入三十五歲腎氣開始衰退,如果伴隨時有頭暈、腰膝痠痛、畏寒怕冷、睡不安寧等症狀,多由腎虛引起。而脾胃虛弱亦容易出現耳鳴情況,因為氣血未能到達頭面五官,營養未能到達雙耳,亦會出現耳鳴症狀。所以平日調理好脾胃,勤於養腎,有助保護聽覺及改善耳鳴情況。

補腎湯水小貼士:
適當地添加補腎食材如黑芝麻、黑木耳、黑米、核桃等。

粟米淮山舞茸菇湯
功效:益氣補腎,紓緩神疲乏力、頭暈、耳鳴、頭髮早白、脫髮等腎虛引起的症狀。
材料:新鮮淮山1根、粟米2根、舞茸菇2朵、黨參15克、黑豆30克、紅棗5枚、枸杞子10克、腰果40克
做法:
1. 所有材料洗淨,舞茸菇洗淨後泡水約30分鐘備用。淮山去皮切塊、粟米去衣去鬚切段。腰果白鍋炒香備用。
2. 鍋內加入約2500毫升水,放入全部材料,以武火煮至水滾,調文火煮約2小時,最後下鹽調味即可。

Nourish Kidneys to Improve Tinnitus
Tinnitus is not a serious illness, but patients often hear a ringing sound in their ears day and night, which can greatly affect mood and daily life. Excluding tinnitus cases caused by head and ear injuries, from Chinese medicine perspective, many cases of tinnitus are caused by physical weakness. Weakened kidney qi in middle-aged and elderly people may increase chance of tinnitus as the kidneys have close relatonship with the ears. Ancient Chinese medicine book “Huangdi Neijing” mentioned that men’s kidney qi weaken after the age of 40 and ladies’ kidney qi weaken after the age of 35. If accompanied by dizziness, sore lower back and weakness in knees, aversion to cold, poor sleep and other symptoms, these may be signs of asthenic kidneys. Those with asthenic spleen and stomach are prone to tinnitus because qi and blood cannot reach the head and face, nutrition cannot reach both ears, and tinnitus symptoms can also occur. Therefore, conditioning the spleen and stomach and nourishing the kidneys more can help protect hearing and improve tinnitus.

Tips for soup to nourish kidneys:
Appropriately add in ingredients such as black sesame, black fungus, black rice, walnut.

Maitake mushroom soup with corn and Chinese yam
Effects: nourishes qi and kidneys, relieves symptoms of asthenic kidneys such as fatigue, dizziness, tinnitus, early appearance of white hair, hair loss.
Ingredients: 1 fresh Chinese Yam, 2 ears of corns, 2 Maitake mushroom, 15g codonopsis root, 30g black beans, 5 Chinese red dates, 10g wolfberries, 40g cashews
Preparation:
1. Rinse all ingredients thoroughly. Soak Maitake mushroom for 30 minutes after rinsing. Peel and cut Chinese yam into pieces. Peel corn, keep silk and cut into pieces. Stir fry cashews without oil in wok until fragrant.
2. Combine all ingredients with 2500ml of water in a pot and cook on high heat until boiling. Turn to low heat and simmer for 2 hours. Add salt to taste.
