❃Embarrassing Foot Odor during Spring?❃

☞Ancient Chinese medicine books states that soaking your feet in hot salt water can help to remove ‘foot air’, but this air isn’t referring to the usual smelly feet symptoms. The increased humidity during spring increases dampness in your body causing meridian stagnation, which results in numbness in limbs, soreness and fatigue. Hot salt water soak can improve blood circulation. In addition the humid conditions allow bacterias to grow more easily which leads to foot odor and the salt water soak can also help to eliminate the bacteria. Note that you should not soak your feet for more than 30 minutes and it’s not suitable before or after meal. Those with kidney disease should also avoid salt water feet soak.

▶︎Tea remedy to remove odor:
Ingredients: Cypress 6g, Rhizoma Atractylodis 9g, Herba Eupatorii 9g
Preparation: Rinse all ingredients thoroughly. Combine with 600ml of water into a pot and cook on high heat until boiling. Then simmer on low heat for another 20 minutes. Once cooked, all the contents can be poured into a thermos and tea can be rebrewed until flavor weakens. For best results, consume for 4-5 days.
Effects: Clear heat and dispels dampness. Relieves symptoms of odor in feet, bad breath, and body odor.
Note: Not suitable for those with asthenic and cold spleen and stomach and frequent diarrhea.
