利水食材簡易食療
想小便暢通無阻,除了每天飲用足夠的水分外,也可適度進食利水食材,有助袪濕排尿。中醫理論不少可利水的食材,都是本身含水分較高的食物,如冬瓜、青瓜、海帶等,它們大多屬性偏寒涼,多有清熱消暑,利水消腫的功效。好好運用這些食材,烹調出簡易又美味的菜色,以作食療之用。

冬瓜荷葉水
材料:冬瓜300克、荷葉半片、冰糖少量
做法:材料洗淨,冬瓜連皮切大塊備用。鍋中加入1500毫升水,放入材料,以武火煮滾轉文火煮30分鐘,加入適量冰糖調味即可。

冬瓜-性涼。清熱祛暑,利水消痰。脾腎虛弱及易有腹瀉者不宜。

醋拌海帶
材料:海帶300克、蒜蓉2茶匙、黑醋、鹽及糖少量
做法:海帶洗淨,剪長片或絲狀,以熱水汆燙5分鐘,放涼備用。蒜頭剪碎,連同黑醋、鹽及糖拌入海帶即成。

海帶-性寒。清熱軟便,化痰利水。胃痛胃寒者及孕婦忌吃。

日式味噌青瓜
材料:青瓜兩條、日式味噌1.5湯匙、糖、米醋及味醂少許
做法:青瓜洗淨切長段,放冰箱冷藏2小時,取出後解凍以刀背輕拍青瓜備用。碗中加入味噌、米醋、糖及味醂拌勻,根據口味微調份量,拌入青瓜,放冰箱醃製半天即成。建議食用前先從冰箱拿出放至室溫才食用。

青瓜-性涼。清熱利尿、生津止渴。胃寒胃痛及虛寒性痛經人士不宜。

Winter melon water with lotus leaf
Ingredients: 300g winter melon, half of a lotus leaf, a small amount of rock sugar
Preparation: Rinse all ingredients thoroughly. Cut winter melon with skin into large pieces. Combine all ingredients with 1500ml of water in a pot and cook on high heat until boiling. Turn to low heat and simmer for 30 minutes. Add appropriate amounts of rock sugar to taste.

Winter melon – cool in nature, clears summer heat, promotes diuresis and clears phlegm. Not suitable for those with asthenic spleen and kidneys and prone to diarrhea.

Kelp with vinegar dressing
Ingredients: 300g kelp, 2 teaspoons of garlic, a small amount of black vinegar, salt and sugar 
Preparation: Rinse the kelp and cut into long pieces or shreds. Cook for 5 minutes and cool down. Chop the garlic and mix well with black vinegar, salt, sugar and kelp.

Kelp –cold in nature, clears heat and softens stools, clears phlegm and promotes diuresis. Not suitable for those with stomach pain, stomach cold and pregnant women.

Japanese miso cucumber
Ingredients: 2 cucumbers, 1.5 tablespoons of Japanese miso, a small amount of sugar, rice vinegar and mirin
Preparation: Rinse the cucumber and cut into long pieces, freeze for 2 hours. Take those out to defrost and hit them with the back of a knife. Add the miso, rice vinegar, sugar and mirin in the bowl and mix well. Finely adjust the amount according to your taste, mix in the cucumber, and marinate in the refrigerator for half a day. It is recommended to take it out of the refrigerator and put it at room temperature before eating.

Cucumber – cool in nature, clears heat and promotes diuresis, promotes fluid production and relieves thirst. Those with stomach pain, cold stomach and asthenic cold type menstrual pain should not have it.
