養心安神湯水
蓮子和百合配搭,有清心安神的功效,可以舒緩工作壓力大、睡不安寧的症狀。加上夏日當造的清甜佛手瓜,更具健脾開胃、清肺化痰之功效。

養心安神湯 - 佛手瓜粟米蓮子湯
材料:佛手瓜2個、粟米連鬚2根、新鮮蓮子連芯80克(乾蓮子約40克)、紅腰豆30克、紅豆30克、百合20克、龍眼肉10克、蜜棗3枚
做法:
1. 材料洗淨。佛手瓜洗淨去皮切件;粟米連鬚去衣切段。
2. 鍋中加入約這2000毫升水,放入全部材料,武火煮至水滾,調文火煮約1小時,下鹽調味即可。
功效:清心安神。舒緩因為思慮過多而不能安眠、疲倦等症狀。

Mind calming soup
When lotus seeds and lily bulbs are used together, it can clear the heart to calm your mind to relieve work related stress and poor sleep. Coupled with the seasonal chayote, it helps to strengthen the spleen to stimulate appetite, clear the lungs to reduce phlegm.

Chayote soup with corn and lotus seeds
Ingredients: 2 chayote, 2 ears of corn with silk, 80g fresh lotus seeds (40g dried lotus seeds), 30g red kidney beans, 20g lily bulbs, 10g dried longan, 3 candied dates
Preparation:
1. Rinse all ingredients thoroughly. Wash and peel chayote and cut into pieces. Remove husks from corn (keep silk) and cut into pieces
2. Combine all ingredients with 2000ml of water and cook on high heat until boiling. Turn to low heat and simmer for 1 hour. Add salt to taste.
Effects: Clears heart to calm the mind. Alleviate symptoms of poor sleep and fatigue due to overthinking.
