當白領們遇上隔天要開會及做presentation,前一晚真的會緊張到睡不著,即使身體有多疲累,腦袋仍然不停運作,整晚輾轉難眠。晚上睡不好,早上精神差,工作表現又怎會好?其實橡筋長期拉緊,也會鬆掉或斷開,更何況是身心俱疲的都市人?又到了週末,抽時間煮個湯,喝一碗溫暖又美味的養心安神好湯慰勞一下自己!

鮮淮山蓮子南棗湯

材料:鮮淮山1根、鮮蓮子連芯80克、南棗4枚、百合15克、松子仁20克、紅腰豆30克、桂圓肉10克
做法:把所有材料洗淨,鮮淮山去皮切塊。鍋中加入約2500毫升水,放入全部材料,武火煮至水滾,改文火煮1小時,最後下鹽調味即可。
功效:養心安神。舒緩神經衰弱,精神壓力大而導致的難入眠,心煩多夢等症狀。

No matter how tired your body is, your brain just cannot stop and you find yourself twisting and turning all night. How can you then perform under such poor mental conditions? Just like a rubber band that’s constantly stretched, overtime, it will break. It’s weekend again, find some time to make this soup to nourish your heart and calm your mind.
Fresh Chinese Yam Soup with Lotus Seeds and Chinese Dates
Ingredients: 1 fresh Chinese yam, 80g fresh lotus seed with plumule, 4 Chinese dates, 15g lily bulbs, 20g pine nuts, 40g red kidney beans, 10g longan meat
Preparation: rinse all ingredients thoroughly. Peel Chinese yam and cut into pieces. Combine all ingredients with 2500ml of water and cook on high heat until boiling. Turn to low heat and simmer for 1 hour. Add salt to taste.
Effects: nourishes the heart and calms the mind. Relieves mental fatigue, difficulty in falling asleep due to stress, irritability and dreamful sleep.
