1. 所有材料洗淨。新鮮海底椰切半、白蘿蔔去皮切幼條、海帶浸水15分鐘,撈起海帶隔水備用,鮮百合剝開一片片備用,腰果以白鍋炒香備用。
2. 鍋中加入約2500毫升水,除了鮮百合,放入全部材料,以武火煮至水滾,調文火煮約2小時,最後15分鐘加入鮮百合,再加鹽調味即可。


Radish soup to aid digestion

Radish is in season during winter and it is suitable for dry heat and phlegm conditions in the winter too as if can regulate qi, relieve coughing and phlegm. In addition, radish can strengthen the stomach and relieve indigestion, alleviate abdominal bloating and belching. Try making a radish and kelp soup after all the heavy eating during Chinese new year holiday.

Tips to make soup to burn fat:
Appropriately add in ingredients such as burdock, Chinese hawthorn, lotus leaf, malt, rice sprouts.

Sea Coconut Vegetarian Soup with radish and fresh lily bulb
Effects: clears heat and aid digestion, alleviate lack of appetite, abdominal bloating, and dry mouth
Ingredients: 2 radish, 4-6 pieces of fresh sea coconut, 2 fresh lily bulbs, 160g kelp, 40g sweet and bitter almonds, 30g cashews, 2 slices of ginger

1. rinse all ingredients thoroughly. Cut fresh sea coconut in half, peel radish and cut into thin slices. Soak kelp for 15 minutes and remove from water. Open up lily bulbs into slices. Fry cashews without oil until fragrant develops.
2. Combine all ingredients except lily bulbs with 2500ml of water and cook on high heat until boiling. Turn to low heat and simmer for 2 hours. Add in lily bulbs in last 15 minutes and add salt to taste.

Note: not suitable for those with qi deficiency and weak body, those with asthenic spleen and prone to frequent diarrhea, those with yang deficient body type, and those with cold wind flu and cough.
