星期五湯水﹣老黃瓜雪梨蓮子芡實腰果湯

又是星期五湯水的時間!天氣日漸悶熱,人更容易感到心煩氣躁,不妨在今個周末煮一個適合熱底人士飲用的湯水。老黃瓜有清熱祛濕的作用,這個湯配合其他材料能潤膚養顏,令皮膚水潤有彈性,還可舒緩皮膚痕癢症狀。

材料: 老黃瓜1根、雪梨2個、蓮子20克、芡實15克、蜜棗2枚、腰果40克
做法:材料洗淨,老黃瓜及雪梨切大件備用。鍋中加入2000毫升水,以武火煮滾,加入新鮮材料、蓮子、芡實、蜜棗及腰果,轉文火煮1小時即成,飲用前可加適量鹽調味。
注意:此湯水偏涼,脾胃虛弱容易腹瀉者不宜多飲。

It’s time for our Friday Soup Series again! It’s getting stuffy and hot, and which make you feel extra irritable, try making this soup this weekend for those who are hot-natured. Old cucumber clears heat and dispels dampness, and this soup is cooked with other ingredients that can moisten your skin and maintain beauty. Your moistened skin will regain elasticity, and symptoms of itchy skin can be relieved.
Ingredients: 1 old cucumber, 2 pears, lotus seeds 20g, Gordon Euryale seeds 15g, 2 candied dates, cashews 40g
Preparation: Rinse all ingredients thoroughly, cut old cucumber and pears into large pieces. Add 2000ml of water into pot and cook on high heat until boiling, then add in fresh ingredients, lotus seeds, Gordon Euryale seeds, candied dates and cashews. Then to low heat and simmer for 1 hour. Add salt to taste.
Note: This soup is cold-natured, and it’s not suitable for those with asthenic stomach and spleen or those prone to diarrhea.
