【預防中暑】進行戶外活動要準備消暑飲品

炎炎夏日,走在街上已香汗淋漓,如果進行戶外運動,當大量出汗後仍然未能有效為身體降溫,人就很容易中暑,所以做運動前記緊帶足夠的飲用水,或者自煮簡易祛濕茶。
不少藥材舖都會預先包裝好的「祛濕料」發售,內容大致是赤小豆、扁豆、生熟薏米、荷葉、土茯苓、澤瀉、木棉花等,買一包祛濕料再加一件冬瓜就可以了,超級簡單方便,此茶尤其適合常在戶外活動的人飲用,清熱消暑祛濕。
如果一次過喝不完,可以將祛濕茶放涼至室溫後,倒入冰格中,放入冰箱冷藏成冰塊,飲用時坐熱水溶解即可,建議於一星期內用完。

材料:祛濕料1包、冬瓜600克
做法:
1. 將祛濕料材料略為洗淨;冬瓜連皮切塊。
2. 鍋中加入約2000毫升水,放入全部材料,武火煮至水滾,調至文火煮1小時,喜歡甜的話加適量冰糖調味即可。
注意:脾胃虛弱及孕婦不宜

Summer relief healing tea for the lazy ones
People can easily sweat a lot in the summer. If you are outdoors and cannot lower your body temperature after sweating a lot, you may get a heat stroke. So be sure to bring enough water for outdoor exercises, or make a simple healing tea to dispel dampness.

A lot of chinese herb shops will have ready made herb packs for dispelling dampness. Ingredients usually include rice bean, hyacinth bean, cooked or raw coix seeds, lotus leaves, smilax, rhizoma alismatis, and kapok. You can conveniently buy a pack and add in winter melon. This is suitable for those who are outdoors a lot to relieve summer heat.

If you can’t finish it in one setting, then cool the tea down to room temperature and pour into ice cube tray and freeze. You can put it in hot water bath to warm up. It is best to consume within a week.

Ingredients: 1 dispel dampness herb pack, 600g winter melon
Preparation:
1. Rinse herb pack. Keep skin on winter melon and cut into pieces.
2. Combine all ingredients with 2000ml of water and cook on high heat until boiling. Turn to low heat and simmer for 1 hour. For those who prefer it to be sweet, add in rock sugar to taste.
Note: not suitable for those with asthenic spleen and stomach or those who are pregnant.
