Strengthen the spleen and stomach before building muscle
Some people exercise to lose weight. But in recent years, more people exercise to build muscles. It is inspiring to see male artists with toned bodies after training. Sometimes you might wonder how come you exercise just like everyone else does, but you do not see visible results? From a Chinese medicine perspective, a weak spleen and stomach cause the loose muscle. The relationship with spleen and muscle is close, which means you have to strengthen the spleen and stomach before building muscle.
Tips for soup to strengthen spleen and stomach:
Appropriately add ingredients such as potato, lotus seeds, fox nuts, poria with hostwood and hyacinth bean coat.
Soybean soup with Chinese yam and Chayote
Effect: Strengthens the spleen and stomach and strengthens the body. Suitable for those with asthenic spleen and stomach.
Ingredients: 1 fresh Chinese yam, 2 chayote, 2 corn, 20g purple haricot, 30g soybean, 30g cashew, 2 candied dates
1. Rinse all ingredients. Peel fresh Chinese Yam and chayote and cut into pieces. Peel corn, remove the silk and cut into pieces. Stir fry cashew without oil in wok until fragrance develops.
2. Combine all ingredients with 2000ml of water and cook on high heat until boiling. Then switch to low heat and simmer for 2 additional hours and add salt to taste.
