Aromatic energizing floral tea
Aside from coffee, what other tea can help me wake up?
EC: A cup or two of coffee is not a big deal to have occasionally. Since coffee is warm in nature, for those with damp heat body constitution or those with eczema, they should not have too much. People who rely on coffee for a boost, but the cause of tiredness is usually staying up late and stress. If those with yin deficiency continue to have cups after cups of coffee, it will add to the heat in body and further cause irritation. Try having a cup a floral tea to wake yourself up!
Lime tea with sweet osmanthus
Ingredients: 1 teaspoon sweet osmanthus, 2-3 slices of lime, honey to taste
Preparation: Put sweet osmanthus into thermos, rinse with hot water once. Then steep with hot water for five minutes until aroma develops. Add in lime slices and honey.
Effects: the aroma of sweet osmanthus can help to wake you up and it is warm in nature which can help to improve yang qi. This tea can alleviate headaches and stress and wakes you up.
