Grain full solar term signifies that rice and wheat in the farms are ready to be harvested. It is also the beginning of hot summer. The humid weather can make breathing difficult. Everyone naturally turns to eating ice-cream or drinking cold drinks to cool down the body more quickly, which leads to stomach issues. The important diet note during grain full is to clear heat and promote diuresis. Eat ingredients that can clear heat and dispel dampness, such as winter melon, cucumber, luffa, mung beans, coix seeds, water chestnuts or Chinese yam. Daylight comes early so try waking up early to go walking or running to promote yang qi. But remember do not stay close to the air condition vents when sweating. You should dry the sweat first and let the body cool down slowly.

.Eat more refreshed and light vegetable, more vegetables and less meat makes a healthier diet.
.Drink rice water every day to strengthen spleen and dispel dampness.
.Eat less food that is nourishing and aid dampness, such as milk, milk tea, cheese or fish raw.
