Warming Soup
After Christmas dinner, it’s time to prep for the New Year’s Eve dinner. Have you considered an oxtail soup that’s a bit international with seasoning that can dispel cold? Today we introduce you to this western soup!

Cumin and pepper are both seasoning that can dispel cold and they are both rich in flavor. Added with a few slices of ginger, it’s great tasting and can dispel wind and warm the stomach. Oxtail is also rich into collagen. This soup is delicious and can be made regularly too and it’s a good alternative to the clear brisket soup.
Ingredients: 1/2 teaspoon cumin, 2-3 teaspoon pepper, 3-4 slices of ginger, 600g oxtail (about 1 catty)
Preparation: rinse all ingredients thoroughly. Blanch oxtail. Fry cumin and pepper without oil until fragrant. Combine all ingredients with 2500 ml of water and cook on high heat until boiling. Turn to low heat and simmer for two hours. Add salt to taste.

Effects: warms the stomach, dispel cold and relieve pain. Can alleviate cold uterus related menstrual pain. Improve weak and cold spleen and stomach and aversion to cold. Not suitable for those with heat like symptom.
