【便秘好像塞車】找出原因才能根治問題

處理便秘要分實或虛
想解決便秘問題,很多人第一時間想到多喝水和吃蔬果,期望透過增加水份及纖維量令便便路路暢通。這兩種方法對有些人有效,有些人卻沒幫助,為甚麼?從中醫角度來看,便秘成因也有分虛── 氣虛、血虛、陽虛,實──濕熱、氣滯,想根治便秘問題,宜配合體質進食合適食物,情況嚴重的話就要諮詢醫師對症下藥。

便秘成因
虛秘
血虛:體內津液氣血不足,未能下潤大腸,引致便秘。
──》宜:米水,適量進食番薯、芝麻糊、核桃、蜂蜜等
忌:飲食生冷。

氣虛:體內氣不足,大腸傳送功能受阻,引致便秘。
──》宜:米水,適量進食粗糧如番薯、小米、五穀等
忌:飲食生冷。

陽虛:體內陽氣不足,寒自內生,影響大腸傳送功能,引致便秘。
──》宜:米水,適量進食粗糧如番薯、芝麻糊、薑茶、紅棗等
忌:飲食生冷

實秘
熱結:腸胃積熱,耗傷津液,令大便乾結,引致便秘。
──》宜:米水、適量進食火龍果、奇異果、海帶、蜂蜜等
忌:辛辣、重口味、煎炸油膩食物、進補

氣滯:生活壓力大,鬱悶情緒影響肝氣鬱結,導致傳導失常,引致便秘。
──》宜:米水、適量進食熟香蕉、無花果、黑木耳、木瓜等

Identifying the type of constipation you have
Most people think drinking more water and eating more fruits and vegetables will solve the problem of constipation due to the increased consumption of fibres. However, these?might be effective for some people only. From Chinese medicine perspective, the causes of constipation are divided to asthenic- qi deficiency, blood deficiency, yang deficiency and sthenia- damp heat and qi stagnation. To relieve constipation, you should eat according to your body type. If the constipation problem is serious, it is recommended to seek medical advise.

The causes of constipation
Asthenic constipation
Blood deficiency: Lack of fluids, qi and blood that can not loosen the bowels, which then leads to constipation.
──》Suitable: Rice water, appropriately consume sweet potato, sesame paste, walnut, honey
Avoid: Cold/raw food and drinks

Qi deficiency: Lack of qi leading disrupted delivery function of the large intestine, which then leads to constipation.
──》Suitable: Rice water, appropriately consume coarse grains such as sweet potato, millets, five grains
Avoid: Cold/raw food and drinks

Yang deficiency: Lack of yang qi creates coldness within the inner body that affects the delivery function of the large intestine, which then leads to constipation.
──》Suitable: Rice water, appropriately consume coarse grains such as sweet potato, sesame paste, ginger tea, Chinese red dates
Avoid: Cold/raw food and drinks

Sthenia constipation
Heat stagnation: Heat in the digestive system consumes fluids in the body causing stool to be dry and hard, which then leads to constipation.
──》Suitable: Rice water, appropriately consume dragon fruit, kiwi fruit, seaweed, honey
Avoid: Spicy, heavy flavored, oily and fried food, tonic food

Qi stagnation: High stress and poor mood will lead to liver qi depression and affects the delivery function of body, which then leads to constipation.
──》Suitable: Rice water, appropriately consume ripened banana, figs, black fungus, papaya
Avoid: Spicy food
