Minor heat solar term signifies we are getting close to the hottest day of the year as it gets hotter each day from here on. Coupled with high humidity, it can feel quite miserable to be outdoors and it is important to watch out for heat stroke. People tend to sweat more so you should increase more water supply through the diet. Eat more melon to clear summer heat, such as loofah, winter melon, old cucumber, bitter gourd, cucumber, you can also eat sour fruits, such as kiwi, pineapple, lemon, mango. The sour taste has effect of astringency, also can dispel dampness, relieve diarrhea, promote fluid production and aid digestion.
During minor heat solar term, you should move less and engage in more static activity. Remember to take more rest. It is suitable to do less intensive sports such as hiking, walking in the suburbs, or stay indoors to read and taste tea, and try to be clam.

Gentle reminders:
. You may eat too much cold/raw food and drink due to the heat. Remember to drink more rice water to strengthen spleen and stomach.
. Eat a bowl of mung bean dessert soup to clear summer heat.
. Immediately wipe off your sweat, be careful not to catch a cold.
