【星期五湯水-蘋果紅蘿蔔花旗參湯】怕晚上睡不好也是一種煩惱?
早上起不了床,又或是起床後的精神好壞,多少也與晚上睡得好不好有關。對於繁忙的打工仔,工時長休息時間不足,精神壓力更是令人睡不安寧的一大原因,即使肉體有多疲累,還在loading的腦袋卻讓你怎也睡不好,有時甚至是難得睡著了也會半夜醒過來,令人早上不願起床,精神體力也欠佳。正值初春時分,人受外濕影響經已較累,要有高質量的睡眠,精神體力才得以恢復,朝氣勃勃!讓這個湯水幫忙舒緩生活壓力吧。
蘋果紅蘿蔔花旗參湯
材料:蘋果2個、紅蘿蔔1根、蓮子20克、百合20克、花旗參10克、無花果

做法:所有材料洗淨。蘋果去皮去芯,紅蘿蔔去皮切塊。鍋中加入2000毫升水,除了花旗參,放入全部材料,武火煮至水滾,改文火煮1小時,最後加入花旗參多煮10分鐘,下鹽調味即可。
功效:清心安神。舒緩常熬夜引致的口乾、皮膚乾、睡不安寧及煩躁等症狀。

American ginseng soup with apples and carrot
Ingredient: 2 apples, 1 carrot, 20g lotus seed, 20g lily bulbs, 10g American ginseng, 3 figs
Preparation: rinse all ingredients thoroughly. Peel and core apples, peel and cut carrot into pieces. Set aside American ginseng and combine rest of ingredients with 2000ml of water and cook on high heat until boiling. Turn to low heat and simmer for 1 hour. Add in American ginseng and cook for additional 10 minutes. Add salt to taste.
Effects: calms the mind. Alleviates late night related dry mouth, dry skin, poor sleep and irritability.
